An Experienced IP Examiner and Analyst
Throughout her years of experience, Yidi has worked in various roles, all revolving around patents. At the beginning of her career, she served the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) as a Supervisory Patent Examiner. In this role, Yidi managed patent quality control and supervised patent landscape reports.
Yidi also supported consumer technology company DJI as an intellectual property manager responsible for overseeing a large international patent portfolio. Yidi also assisted with ITC Section 337 investigations and litigation in district courts and before the Federal Circuit for the company. In addition, she conducted IP due diligence, analyzed patentability, managed core IP assets, and monitored IP compliance.
During her time working in intellectual property licensing offices at a higher education institution, she gained extensive experience in managing intellectual property assets, negotiating licensing agreements, and facilitating collaboration between academia and industry.
