Merchant &amp; Gould is pleased to announce that <a href="/people/misty-a-borg-misterek/">Misty Borg Misterek</a> has been promoted to Director of Business Development &amp; Marketing, effective Jan. 1, 2022. While based in Minneapolis, she manages the firm’s business development, marketing, and public relations efforts firm-wide.

With the firm since 2001, Misty has a deep dedication and plays a pivotal role in strategizing and implementing the firm’s business development practices. She’s continuously evaluating new growth areas and leading new-business initiatives to further support the firm’s development goals. As part of the leadership team, Misty dedicates her time to defining the strategic vision of the firm and executing that vision to maintain Merchant &amp; Gould’s position as a leading national intellectual property law firm. Misty’s breadth and depth of marketing experience aid in her ability to develop the strategy for all business endeavors.&nbsp;

Leading up to her promotion, Misty has been involved with several firm-wide committees, currently serving on the Diversity Committee and Marketing Committee. She is also affiliated with professional organizations, such as the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) where she currently co-chairs the Solo/Small Team Special Interest Group and the group’s Pre-Conference Program. In addition, Misty is a national member of the American Marketing Association and Association of Legal Administrators.
