Jordan Almen is a paralegal in the firm’s Minneapolis office, where she supports attorneys and clients in managing intellectual property portfolios and day-to-day prosecution matters. She assists with docket management, client and foreign associate communications, USPTO filings, and preparation of detailed portfolio and status reports.
Jordan brings a broad professional background that includes legal support, communications, and client service. Before joining Merchant, she worked in a corporate and estate planning practice, where she assisted with document preparation, filings, research, and coordination with clients and outside professionals. Her earlier experience as a reporter strengthened her writing, research, and interviewing skills, which continue to support her detail-oriented approach to legal work.
With a background in communication studies and formal paralegal training, Jordan is skilled at organizing complex information and keeping matters moving efficiently. She brings a practical, responsive approach to supporting attorneys and clients across the firm.
