Each day presents unique challenges for Megan Friedrich in her role as Merchant's HR generalist. She tackles a wide range of human resources responsibilities, such as managing staff recruitment, coordinating interviews, overseeing the performance review process, assisting with benefits enrollment, and leading new hire orientations.
Megan Friedrich began her journey at Merchant in 1999 as an accounts payable specialist. In 2001, she made a transition to the human resources department, where she has since held various roles, such as human resource information system specialist, recruiting manager, and her current position as HR Generalist. During this time, she earned her master's degree in human resources and industrial relations in 2004.
Though she is based in Merchant's Minneapolis office, Megan's expertise extends across all the firm's locations, supporting employees in various recruitment and human resources aspects.
Megan is passionate about reading, running, and cherishing quality time with her family outside of work.
